Hello TORO Family:

Welcome to 2024! At Dr. Leonides G. Cigarroa High School we are ready to continue with our mission of providing the best instruction for our students.

Please ensure that you ask your son/daughter to make their best effort to be successful at school. They need to be in the classroom on time and during the whole class period. They must pay attention and do their work diligently. They need to ask questions and come to tutorials if they are not grasping what is being taught. Our teachers are in the best disposition to help our students because they understand the importance of their success.  Also, please ask them about their grades and remember that every three weeks, we give progress reports. These can be accessed via the parental portal in Skyward.

Finally, we continue to ask for your support in asking your son/daughter to keep arriving on time, always displaying good behavior, and doing their best in their academic effort. Please ask them to avoid wearing garments that do not adhere to the dress code found in the district’s student code of conduct.

¡Bienvenidos al 2024! En la Escuela Secundaria Dr. Leonides G. Cigarroa estamos listos para continuar con nuestra misión de brindar la mejor instrucción a nuestros estudiantes.

Asegúrese de pedirle a su hijo/hija que haga su mejor esfuerzo para tener éxito en la escuela. Necesitan estar en el salón de clases a tiempo y durante todo el período de clase. Deben prestar atención y hacer su trabajo diligentemente. Necesitan hacer preguntas y asistir a tutorías si no comprenden lo que se les enseña. Nuestros profesores están en la mejor disposición para ayudar a nuestros alumnos porque entienden la importancia de su éxito. Además, pregúnteles sobre sus calificaciones y recuerde que cada tres semanas entregamos informes de progreso. Se puede acceder a estos a través del portal para padres en Skyward.

Finalmente, continuamos pidiendo su apoyo para que le pida a su hijo / hija que siga llegando a tiempo a sus clases, muestre siempre un buen comportamiento, y haga todo lo posible en tener un mejor desempeño académico. Pídales que eviten usar prendas que no se adhieran al código de vestimenta que se encuentra en el código de conducta estudiantil del distrito.
