Dear Mighty Toro Families, Students, Staff, and Community: Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Dr. Leonides G. Cigarroa High School! It is with immense pride, gratitude, and excitement that I welcome you as the new Principal of Dr. L.G. Cigarroa High School. It is truly an honor and privilege to serve a school with such a rich tradition of excellence, resilience, and community pride. Having previously served as the Director of Sabas Perez Early College High School, I have been fortunate to witness firsthand the incredible potential of our students and the unwavering dedication of our educators. Together, we achieved remarkable milestones and remained committed to ensuring our students graduated prepared for college, careers, and life. I am excited to bring that same passion, vision, and commitment to the entire Cigarroa High School community. At Cigarroa High School, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, pursue their dreams, and reach their highest potential. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged academically, encouraged to lead, and inspired to grow. Together, we will continue to break barriers in academics, athletics, fine arts, career and technical education, leadership, and service. Through purpose, determination, resilience, and collaboration, we will cultivate a culture where excellence is the expectation and every student is empowered to succeed.
