Kudos to our excellent Biology Teacher and Coach, Mr. Robert Bird, for integrating Flocabulary into his instruction while teaching about the structure and function of DNA! 🧬 Students engaged in differentiated learning by completing the Vocab Cards and Vocab Game activities, which allowed them to build word knowledge by writing and drawing keywords from the lesson. 💻🧠📝🎨🎶

Our very own CHS Librarian, Ms. P. Sosa, has been presenting to classes of Mrs. A. Soto, Ms. A. Casares, Ms. P. Guel, Sgt. Martinez, Sgt. Gonzalez, on the wonderful library resources through the use of the new Clear Touch Panels that were delivered in Summer 2024. The interactive panels allow students, parents, and teachers to access and navigate our school's digital resources through MackinVIA. Through MackinVIA, which is now linked through Classlink, patrons are able to encounter exciting eBooks, Audiobooks, current events through NewsOMatic, and Gale Educational Databases for Research, Testing, and helpful Teacher Resources. The students enjoyed navigating and interacting with MackinVIA utilizing the Clear Touch Panel.
